The Tigers lost a tough matchup to Lutheran East on Friday night, 81-70. The Tigers came out well in the 1st quarter being very aggressive offensively and attacking the Falcon’s defense with great confidence. The turning point in the game for the Tigers was the last minute of the first half, and the first three minutes of the second half where Lutheran East went on an 11-0 run in that timeframe. The Tigers fought back in the 4th quarter cutting the lead to 5 points with 50 seconds to play in the game, but it wasn’t enough to take the lead. The Tigers had a great game from senior Brandon Rush who finished with 28 points, and sophomore Ramelle Arnold who finished with 20. The Tigers move to 5-3 on the season, and 2-1 in the conference. The team will travel to Akron on Tuesday to take on Kenmore-Garfield High School. Tip-off will be at 7pm.
