After overcoming a 13-1 start, the Tigers fought back winning another overtime thriller 80-77 over Elyria Catholic for the District title! In the first half, Omahn Dobbins’ play kept the Tigers in the game, scoring 12 of the teams 39 first half points. Ramelle Arnold came alive in the second half, hitting big shot after big shot. Jamarion Johnson gave the Tigers a spark off of the bench playing big minutes and contributing 13 points, including the go ahead 3 point basket in overtime. Ramelle Arnold led the Tigers with 34 points, and the Tigers advance to the Regional for the first time since 2013. This is the seventh Regional appearance in school history, the 3rd time for coach Brian Swift, who appeared in 2001 as a player and in 2013 as the head coach. The Tigers will play Creston Norwayne on Wednesday, March 11th at 6:15pm. The regional tournament is held at the Canton Memorial Fieldhouse in Canton, OH.
