All great things must come to an end. This Saturday closed the high school career of one of Warrensville Heights High School’s winningest wrestlers in school history. Anthony Scurry, a 4.04 G.P.A student, and who scored a 23 on the ACT, finishes his wrestling career at 132-20. While wrestling for Warrensville, Anthony has won 3 LEL championships, a LEL wrestler of the year, two sectional championships, three time district qualifier, district placer, and one of the two state qualifiers from Warrensville in more than fifteen years. Anthony came up one match short of qualifying for the state tournament this past weekend, but his future looks ever so bright. Anthony has the work ethic, determination, and the passion for the sports that allows me to believe one day Warrensville will be home to a NCAA National Champion. In conclusion, I would like to thank Anthony for the outstanding job you’ve done representing yourself, your community and more importantly your family.
